Where We Work
Mostly within rural communities in Nigeria — primarily in the Niger Delta and expanding into South-Eastern States.
Communities across Southern Nigeria
Rivers State
EcoFDI's headquarters are in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The bulk of our earliest and most established programs are rooted here — from community entrance facilitation in rural riverine communities to WASH interventions and capacity building workshops.
Bayelsa State
A key area of operation given its rich biodiversity and the environmental pressures facing its communities. EcoFDI runs biodiversity conservation and food security programs here.
Delta State
Delta State communities face acute environmental challenges from oil extraction activities. EcoFDI works on eco-innovative livelihood alternatives and environmental studies in this region.
Cross River State
Home to some of Nigeria's most significant forest ecosystems. EcoFDI partners with local communities here on biodiversity conservation and sustainable natural resource management.
South-Eastern States
EcoFDI is actively expanding its footprint into the South-Eastern States — Imo, Anambra, Enugu, Ebonyi, and Abia — bringing our full range of programs to new communities.
